This policy is written for the website's current enquiry and coordination model. A local quotation may add job-specific terms, but it cannot remove mandatory rights under applicable law.
1. Using this website
These terms apply to your use of the Gajab Home Services website and enquiry channels. By sending a request, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate to the best of your knowledge and that you are authorised to arrange work at the property.
You must be at least 18 years old to confirm a booking unless applicable law allows otherwise and a lawful representative is involved.
2. Our current role
The website is an enquiry and service-coordination starting point. Submitting a form, email or WhatsApp message does not itself create a service contract, guarantee availability or confirm a price or arrival time.
The written quotation or booking confirmation will identify the contracting business or professional. It should state whether Gajab Home Services or a local provider is supplying the service, together with the provider's contact details, scope, price and applicable terms.
3. When a booking is confirmed
- A service is confirmed only after the scope, location, price or charging method, timing and contracting provider are accepted in writing or by another clear agreed method.
- An estimate can change if site conditions, hidden damage, measurements, materials or requested work differ from the information originally supplied.
- Any deposit, call-out charge, diagnostic fee, minimum charge, tax, material cost or cancellation term must be disclosed before it becomes binding.
- Additional work requires your approval unless immediate action is reasonably necessary to prevent danger and the law permits it.
4. Provider identity, licences and insurance
Regulated work must be allocated only to a person or business holding the licence, certification, registration or supervision required at the job location. Requirements differ by country, state, province, city and type of work.
You may ask for the provider's legal name, licence number, insurance details and written scope before confirming. A website listing is not by itself proof of a current credential. Our Service Provider Standards explain the checks expected for regulated work.
5. Your responsibilities
- Describe the problem, property and access conditions honestly and disclose known hazards.
- Confirm that you own, occupy or have authority to arrange the work.
- Provide safe and reasonable access and keep children, pets and vulnerable occupants away from the work area when requested.
- Do not ask a professional to perform unlawful, unsafe or unlicensed work.
- Review the provider's identity, scope, exclusions, warranty, price and cancellation information before acceptance.
- Pay the contracting party in the agreed way after checking the invoice or receipt.
6. Emergencies and safety
This website is not an emergency-response service. If there is fire, gas smell, serious flooding near electricity, exposed live wiring, structural danger, suspected poisoning, violence or immediate risk to life, leave the danger area where appropriate and contact the local emergency authority or utility first.
Do not rely on a website message as confirmation that urgent assistance is on the way.
7. Communications
We may contact you about the enquiry, availability, quotation, booking, safety, complaint or follow-up. Promotional messages require the permission or other legal basis applicable in your country and must include a practical opt-out where required.
WhatsApp, email and telephone services are operated by third parties and their own terms and privacy practices also apply.
8. Acceptable use
- Do not submit false, unlawful, abusive, discriminatory or dangerous requests.
- Do not impersonate another person or misuse provider or customer information.
- Do not interfere with the website, introduce malicious code, scrape it at harmful scale or attempt unauthorised access.
- Do not copy the brand, original content or imagery for commercial use without permission.
9. Service quality and consumer rights
The contracting provider must perform the agreed service with the standard, care and skill required by applicable law. Nothing in these terms removes a consumer guarantee, cooling-off right, refund right, warranty or remedy that the law does not allow a business to exclude.
UK consumers retain rights including the requirement that services be performed with reasonable care and skill. Indian consumers retain protections against deficient services and unfair trade practices. US consumers retain applicable federal, state and local protections.
10. Responsibility and lawful limits
Each contracting party remains responsible for its own acts, omissions and legal duties. To the extent Gajab Home Services acts only as an introducer or coordinator, the local provider remains responsible for performing the service described in its quotation.
Nothing excludes or limits liability for fraud, deliberate misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded. Any other limit must be stated in the booking terms and remain subject to mandatory consumer law.
11. Country law and disputes
Mandatory consumer rights in the place where you receive the service continue to apply. A booking confirmation may identify the governing law and dispute route for that local service, but it cannot remove rights or forums that applicable law makes mandatory.
Please use the Complaints Policy first so the issue can be investigated with the contracting provider. Privacy complaints follow the Privacy Policy.
12. Changes and contact
We may update these website terms prospectively when the service or law changes. The terms accepted for an already confirmed booking will not be replaced unfairly after the event.
Questions about these terms can be sent to info@gajabmarket.in.
